Why I started this whole thing..
Hi, I’m Jes!
I’ve been a floral designer since 2017, but my journey into flowers started unexpectedly. While studying art in college, I needed a part-time job. One day, I passed by a botanical shop near my school and thought, How cool would it be to work with flowers and plants? I wandered in, drawn by the scent of fresh blooms, and learned the owner loved hiring artists. That was all the encouragement I needed—maybe I could spend my days surrounded by gorgeous botanicals… why not? That decision changed everything. I had no idea I’d one day become a professional florist.
In 2020, I discovered the art of preserving flowers while working at my second florist job. I saw pressed flower pieces being sold and was immediately captivated by their beauty. My curiosity led me to explore different drying techniques, and soon, I started creating my own framed floral art. That holiday season, my little floral frames were a hit, and what began as a side project quickly became something I wanted to pursue full-time.
Now, I run my own business, turning nature’s fleeting beauty into lasting art. I am so looking forward to working with you!
